According to that you have 4 satellites and a DOP of 7. Anything over a DOP of 2 is shifty, pun intended. I believe you need at least 5 satellites for a fix.

With RTK your rover and your base need access to the same satellites in order to do the math behind the scenes. So if you are far away from the base station you're going to limit the number available to both the base and the rover at the same time. Switching to a 372 will help with this because it also uses GLONASS, not just GPS satellites. Before you go through that expense though, have your 262 updated, it should be running V5.

Once that is done make sure your elevation masks aren't set too high either. I generally run mine around 5 degrees. If you use Trimble's satellite planner you'll be able to predict the times of day, if any, when you're going to be experiencing unusually low satellite availability.

There are other satellite planners available as well, but may as well use the Trimble planner with the Trimble hardware.
