Ask both companies about how much support costs per hour after the sale. At 59 years old, you may need more help. JD is proud of their tech support.

I own all JD tractors. I also have all Trimble auto steer. Just installed my 3rd autopilot today. Also have one EZ Steer. Much prefer autopilot.

Trimble support is free on the phone and I have only needed to pay them to install my autopilots.

Local JD dealer was charging $125/hr for tech support on GPS.

Trimble generally costs 75% of JD for the same setup.

I will keep my Trimble for now.
