South Australia | I've had pretty good luck with GPS-ag lately and have found them very helpful ringing me back to make sure any issues i've had have been resolved.
Sounds like you need to look at your cabling on your base or you may have a freewave radio on the way out or in need of a software update. Are you loosing packets from the base?

The end of the day it should come down to dealer support. If you want to cover a 50km radius your going to need more than one base and the price of a base does vary alot Do your want RTK on everything? Also you should look at what software you are using to manage your data at the moment.
