SEQ, Australia | What sort of distances are you talking for the base stations? A few options there with regards to radios or modems to get the corrections to you. Also have the option of CentrePoint RTX.
S Series header will steer fine, but at the moment there is no integrated YM option for the JD YM on that model. We have been fitting aftermarket YM's to these machines.
Steer ready Magnum and 30 Series are also good to go - the 30 Series is still my favourite tractor model to steer - no sh**house JD CAN system to deal with, and full control of the Danfoss valve. We have also found better results through fitting AutoSense steering sensors to the Magnums, rather than using the steering pot in the front axle.
No:1 rule is to find a dealer with the support that will work for you - a machinery dealer is not necessarily the answer, but might be the best option depending on your location. From memory, you are in Vic somewhere? SST at Jerilderie have a lot of bases up through NSW, VIC & SA that might get you the coverage you are after.
