Talk to your John Deere salesman again and ask for a used receiver, you can be full deere equipment for around 4500 if you get an iTC SF1 (+/-10") accuracy, that will be all you need and plenty accurate for your operation. possibly sell your trimble now and get some money back on that. This would be your best move everything integrated no add ons in the cab or an obnoxious motor hanging steering wheel.

If you ever decide to go to control shut on/off and your sections, you can do that with what that tractor comes with already, just would have to unlock that at a small cost.
