Subject: Trimble or Deere

North Carolina
I bought a CFX 750 last year to use on a 4250 Deere for spraying and possibly some spreader work. Was planning on adding autopilot this year but ended up trading for a 6190R that is Autotrac ready. My Trimble guy says he can put the autopilot in the column and use my 750 display for a cost of $5300. My salesman said he thought I could have autotrac up and running for about $6100. Not his department so he wasn't sure. I really know almost less than nothing about both systems but I know the cab is already wired up for Deeres system and my 4250 looked like it had a rats nest of wires in it and I would like to avoid that if possible. Trimble guy says I could expect accuracy down to 6 inches. What could I expect from Deere's? Ya'll help a 59 year old guidance rookie out please. All advice and opinions appreciated.
