Morris, IL
We check scale all we can and i've never been disappointed. If you zero, then fold auger out, drive 50' the weight will be way off. We just zero as i'm turning PTO on and write down Negative number before leaving. I know their is a load and unload deal but Zero is much simpler for everyone to remember. Also we try and dump on level ground. If your dumping on an angle it will be correct if you don't move, but the second you move forward or back it seems to be way off. That said, i don't run cart much, combine or semi 95% of the time. Couple bean bins last year with within 10 bushel. Corn bins are farther off due to drying but not much if you know wet moisture and your shrink rate.
