Yes that does makes sense. Agleader guy told me same thing as far as no more then 1/2". As far as deflector plate, so it needs to be all the way to rear of machine (elevator is throwing forward) and square with the elevator paddles or top of elevator, i know answer should be both but you take what you can get when combine has 7k hours and going strong. How do i go about squaring to paddle or top of elevator? I was thinking their was a solid block up their and no adjustment but i'll have to look again. Have some time to spend on this tomorrow. Same scale, when we calibrate we do not move it. Zero, dump sitting still and read. Then i will check off large amounts when dumping. To dump we zero scale, dump and write down the negative number. It could be off little bit but after you do 200k lb. and it's all the same you have pretty good idea. Going to an elevator using this method we are normally within .5%
