That's the part I don't understand Ialto, how can you get such cheap ins on dryland at 80%? My dryland APHs aren't even 160 and ours is still over double that on dryland and close to 4 times that on irrigated. Good chance Im going to clear down ta 65% next year and just go heavy hail and wind, those are the 2 biggest chances of getting wiped here anyways with irrigation. Id take 80% all day long at $20 an acre, no brainer then, but I don't see it as a no brainer at $72 an acre, that is a lot of difference, that's $40k on 800 acres, that's not pocket change.
