Subject: RE: Yield Data Calibration Question

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Yes, the units will recompute the yields based on the updated "C" numbers.

This actually caused some confusion in earlier models and crop conditions. In some cases the "C" values were correct at the time of harvest but later in the season the "C" values were updated to reflect the then current values. The yield for the early harvest was recalculated which was not desirable in that situation. This has been addressed in more recent models as the calibration can be "retired". Then a new calibration can be used which does not change the previously harvested areas.
