Subject: 2188 elevator speed and header height controll

NE Kansas
I posted last week about the elevator speed reading on a pf 3000 not being correct when the ez steer was operating. I hard wired the ez 500 to the battery, but I'm still seeing a slight voltage drop (12.7 down to 12.5) when this happens. I'm assuming the voltage drop is to blame for the erratic elevator speed. Any ideas on how to fix this. Is it a bad ground, a bad sensor, or ???

On another note, what is the best way to remedy high moisture readings due to sticky build-up on the moisture sensor. I end up running manual mode most of the time. Can the sensor be updated to something else that isn't so finicky?

Beans are making 55+ on ground that averages 40; weighed across the elevator scales.

Jonathan
