if your UD+ is running v3.2 firmware, you can only use a max 16MB card. You can update the monitor to v4.6 or v31.4 if you want to use the larger card. Or you can look around for a 16MB card.
Shouldn't be any problem using that receiver with the UD+, but you need to get the datacard issue sorted out or the GPS won't do you any good even if you do get it communicating.
