michigan | Left my town job last October to farm full time and milk a small herd of cows. I just realized this morning it had been a year all ready. Time flies when your having fun ( lol). It has been a very rewarding year the freedom is something I really enjoy. This is something I wanted to do when I was younger but just could not make it happen. For the most part things have went pretty good. I have gotten some very good advice and ideas from all of you on this forum. Some things I have learned this year is cows dont give milk u earn every drop of it, cows dont stay milked, and everything happens at milking time. | |
