You'll want to confirm that the TX pin on each device goes to the RX pin on the other device. Sometimes a null-modem cable is needed to swap the TX and RX pins, sometimes a straight through cable is required.
The Ez Guide 500 and the Bluetooth-to-RS232 adapter will need to have the same baud rate on the RS232 link. Also set the 500 to send NMEA GGA sentences so that you can read those on the phone.
To get to the caster, you need an IP address, port number, username, and password. The first time you connect, the NTRIP client will download a list of mountpoints available. The Ez Guide 500 will need data in the CMR+ format.
