I worked for 84 Lumber for years, and all these answers are good. IMO, if your looking for a really expensive headache, go with Anderson or Pella. They're a really great window until a kid puts a ball through one. You'll be at least 4 weeks getting a new dash even if it is a "stock" window. With that being said, I sold more Jeld-wen than anything else. Strictly because they stood behind everything they sold. They had more options, (glass, color, insulation) than most of their competition. On a side note, if you get windows from "Slowes", you'll pay 10-20% more than going to your local lumberyard...
