It will work if in a jam, but we advise against it to our customers. If you have the conventional body as well as an aim body use the conventional. If you are going to do a solid stream fertilizer application that is kind of defeating the purpose of AIM to begin with. We are also told by the capstan reps that liquid fert will wear out the poppet in the AIM body faster.
