If u have a 9650, that already a dual CAN system, so no wedge box. You could use a 2600 if you had one to try. Up where brown box is , is there 2 plugs , 1 black & one grey ? If yes,, your closer than u think. A 100$ harness will make that plug into a 2600/2630. Put globe on & go.
If no 2600 then yes a mobile processor is what u will need. You will need a key card & data card.
