| I have a cfx 750 running a fertilizer spreader with a pwm valve and shaft encoder. The spreader spreads but it surges. I put it in maual test mode and went out to look at the drag chain and the shaft where the encoder is connected too. It seems that the everytime the shaft make a revolution it surges. It is a new spreader and shaft is straigt. The only thing I can think of is the endcoder has a bad spot in it that when it gets to that spot it thinks that it is slowing down so it speads the shaft up and then it sees it is going to fast and corrects it. Again when it surges it happens at the same spot on the encoder. It is a new encoder and I plan on getting another one but wanted to see if anyone else has any idea. | |
