Yes, I have a few Irish Dexters, they are a dual purpose breed. I only know of one person that milks them, the rest are for beef.
They are easy to work with and are easy keepers. Even my first calf heifers have calved by themselves, good mothers, good natured and easy going.
Anybody raising Dexter cattle in the U.S.?
