They have pop off valves on the common rails. You will probably hear all bad on here, but we've run them thousands of hours and no problems. If it's too high it should trip the pop off valve.
You are right about the relief valve. Unfortunately, after a few relief cycles the valve no longer seats correctly and a permanent leak in the system is created. This causes the pump to work even harder to build the increased pressure and shortens pump life. |
