Missouri | No, there is some actual difference in the shape of the cutouts for allowing the cable out from behind it. Also, the 9x10 has a slot in the middle on the top, which allowed it to straddle the elevator seam (which was on the side on the 9x10 series). None of the differences affect function in any way I can see.
I didn't realize the decal was part of it. The last time I installed one of those, it was a PF series, and instead of being preinstalled on the EMU, there was a decal in the install kit that you could put somewhere else on the elevator.
I've got a rattle can of JD Green. If the decal doesn't peel off, it will surely paint over. | |
