Pokey I don't know if you had the weather to try this, but the big promotion for this type of tool here is to run it 12-24 hours before you plant. In your case you might have the best luck if you have time to run it 1 day and then come back and do it again the next day and plant. I know you got rained out, but if you get a chance it may work better still. At least that is the recommendation here.
