Last winter was looking on line for a gas cylinder for the rear window in the tractor. After carefully checking the specs, all the online ones were 3/4" shorter than the original part. Prices were 1/2 of dealer. Did not want to get the wrong one. When I got the new one from the dealer it had subbed to another number and was the same shorter one I could have gotten online. Works fine.
