SC Iowa | Just like corn supplies were not evenly dispersed over the last year ....corn supplies in Iowa will not be evenly dispersed due to PP acres in north Iowa where a lot of demand points are located....
If corn has to come from another 25-50 miles from areas that had less PP and more supply....well, that is likely a better choice than buying rail from much farther away....but in the end, economics will dictate where it comes from
basis should be supported in that area, but probably nothing close to what we saw this past year...
probably take another year to get corn stocks in those areas back toward normal | |
