Western Oregon
Not easy to put scales on the GP drill. I bought a monitor because I thought I was going to plant lots of fescue and I was afraid of plugging up. When you plug up on 23" rows it leaves a big gap for the next five years.
And because of another problem with people still remind me of at the Amity Cafe that I don't really want to discuss right now.
The monitor gives population on 8 rows. Works excellent at low speeds and is pretty constant at high speed. Poplation reads lower at high speed. I really like it. Plus, I got a bin level alarm so it beeps at me when I'm almost out of seed.
Drill scale would have been better for just getting lbs per acre.
Did you get your scale from Loupe or someone else?
