SE IL | Yep, I would recommend upgrading. iPad 2 might be sufficient (that's what i have) but it is starting to feel slow. Most apps are designed for the faster versions of the newer iPads.
I just bought an iPad with 3G capability. Even if you don't use the 3G, the cellular version has a built-in GPS receiver. I plan on using my ipad in the tractor this fall for harvest; both work and play. Check out the refurbs on apple's website. They are practically new for a cheaper price.
