Some of these replys are why the grain buyers get away with doing this. Do the math. At $7 I am paying 24 cents to dry My % 22 corn. Next guy is paying 17 cents to dry his % 22 $5 corn. Is it a little more clear to some of you now.
Sounds like you should trade your $7 corn contract to the guy who is delivering $5 corn. You would get the cheaper drying charge and I bet everybody would be happier. |
