| Competition is great in the industry, and I don't claim to know all the ins and outs of the systems. I do think that getting to 300 bpa is going to happen and it is going to take a leap in technology rather than just genetics. I just want to point out that a yield map from a system such as (but not limited to) AgLeaders will do more than give you whole field or truck load averages. Can the systems be improved on, maybe yes.
PP planting offers a wonderful improvement in the planter unit designs. They work hard at making the industry better. My concern is some of the sketchy information that gets relayed from the traveling road show. | |
