Yes you can hook up the 9 pin as well, (that's the only way to do it on a EDGE, because the EDGE can not communicate via RJ45 to PD) But I know nick has Integra's
It almost sounds like he is wanting to adapt the 1500 into the paradyme harness at the roof. so just a short little jumper cable from 1500 to PD roof connection.
