Morris, IL | We plant 100% monsanto, relative being a dealer is a main reason. Every company has good and bad and in my opinion so we are monsanto because of great local support. If he wasn't a dealer i don't know where our seed would come from but it most likely wouldn't be monsanto.
But anyway, i think as this technology comes along their will be private companies that can do same thing or better. Their are private companies that take your yield data and others in area, they process the data and can learn a lot more just because of the data. I've been thinking of getting in with company that does this but haven't pulled trigger yet, i've heard some great things from dealer and the private companies themselves but i haven't heard much for the farmer side of it yet.
Pioneer hasn't done so well in this area, maybe because we didn't try enough of it or what ever. | |
