I contemplated that step a little over a year ago. Bish has a kit to convert a 93 series head to your combine. I didn't do it as I didn't get the 7010 purchased I was bidding on, but it didn't look like a drastic conversion. I think the important thing is to get a good welder/blacksmith to do the hacking and I believe if it is done right you can weld back the section you took out. I was worried if the electronics would hook up right, but I think Bish also supplies what you need to make that work also. Of course the older Bish adapters will not work that adapted 843 and 893 heads to 2188's.
