Cullom, Illinois | I've been thinking about buying a new planter to try some narrow corn along with 10" soybeans and wheat. I see Great plains offers a narrow row planter. But some of the local farmers in my area have told me their service is less than desirable. In fact, know of a farmer to the east that traded two 24 rows just because the service was so bad. Said he liked the planter but got tired of the service issues. So I was wondering how others have gotten along? I see a lot of two and three year old twin row GP planters for sale at what seems like a cheap price. Is this because they didn't like the planter or twin rows? | |
