Southeast MN | In the process of cleaning up the tractor and realized a few of the tools it carries are probably 60 or more years old. Depending on the job, there may be special items I carry as spares or expect to need. But what struck me was some of the stuff stays in the tractor for years.
Generally carry a flashlight, vise grip, 12" crescent, flat and phillips screwdriver, big taper punch and big chisel that I think grandpa bought at an auction. Along with a roll of black tape, couple feet of smooth wire and 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" bolts with nuts and washers, couple hose clamps and the ever handy cable ties. Also have a chain and clevis, cause I'll never get stuck if I have them along. Extra drawpins and cylinder collars come and go, seems like those grow legs and wander off. Amazing what you can improvise to keep going with just a few things.
