I have a small group of farmers that I handle all their data & set up their displays & help them do what they wanna do. It's amazing to me how dealers sell this stuff & have no clue what it can or can't do.
I have a gentleman that's in his 80's , 4850 w/ an ATU & this year they got a 16 row w/ a rate controller & has a 2630. When we got in the tractor the 1st thing he asked was,, where is my planter monitor? I said its on this now. Gave him some laminated cheat sheets & since I set up the display ,, everything was already on it.
He did tell me, don't get to far from your phone,, and yea I got ALOT of calls,, but he did a heck of a job.
Display setup really helps. Certain pages with icons for switching variety's that all ya gotta do is push & it takes ya right there.
It's not easy,, but my guys have gotten along very well & they like what I'm doing for them.
