Subject: Looking for your help

I am posting on behalf of Team ASAP, we are a group of college students working on a senior project and we need your help. We are developing a product that will help with precision agriculture on combines and maybe other equipment. We are trying to decide if there is a market for a riser bracket that would allow the GPS receiver to mount above the grain tank, to prevent shading, but still fold flat so that there is not a clearance issue when the grain tank is folded in. We are also thinking that this would allow the receiver to be mounted in a spot where it could easily be accessed or removed, instead of in the grain tank. There should be some photos posted below. We are looking for some information from you guys to help us develop our project. Below are a few questions listed, mostly about combines, if you could either respond on this forum or email us at teamasapag @ gmail .com, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys!

1. Do you have a GPS receiver on your combine? What make/model is it?
2. Where is it located on the combine?
3. Does your machine have a grain tank extension? Is it folding? How often do you fold it in? How tall is the extension?
4. If your receiver is mounted on the cab, do you suffer from GPS shading from the grain tank?
5. If there was a bracket that made it easier to fold the receiver in and made it more convenient to remove from the roof, what would you be willing to pay for one?

Thanks Again Guys!
