Morris, IL | I 100% understand. Our ground is pretty flat, guys are running 80'and 90' with 60" singles and get along fine so we are in different country as far as that goes. We do farm some rough stuff so I know kind of what it's like, it's different.
I would leave boom full when doing headlands. You just have to shift off the guess row little bit. Put some flags out on first field to get use to when to shut boom off. You need all the room you can get to get turned around in one sprayer pass let alone cutting it down to only 16 rows. That isn't as easy as it may seem to turn shorter although with three point boom you got everything in your favor.
I'd have to draw it out but you might be better off cutting it to 18 or 20 row covered boom. To stay out of the guess rows and to work with typical spaced out duals. Covering 19 rows doesn't work nicely with regular tire spacing i belive. Correct me if I'm wrong, can't think this late.
