Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, autosteer and autswath are two different features. You can have one, the other or both. Autoswath would shut off sections on a sprayer, rows on a planter and will also adjust the width when combining. There are settings that correspond to the quality of the GPS that you are using.
With an 8 row head on WAAS mine adjusts the rows harvested with my combine in two row jumps of 8,6,4 or 2. It is not terribly accurate with WAAS and harvesting but is very accurate with with Omnistar for row shutoffs on the planter.
There is a page on the Insight that will tell you which unlocks you have. Multi-product, Autoswath and Autopilot are the ones that I have unlocked. This means I can use it with a Trimble Autopilot for steering, shut off sections of my planter and apply more than one product at a time (Seed, fertilizer, spray).
