I'd be careful on 'indicators' since they tend to suggest whatever the folks publishing them want them to say. Under employment, more part time employment doesn't buy lots of meat or lots of toys from china. Doesn't mean everyone is poor, but with the current US regulatory/political climate, happy days are a long ways off for now.
