The problem is that the GPS signal is only 5 hz rate and the radar is 50 hz.
Its mean that radar is much more sensitive in speed changes.
We used this year rowflow and I have seen that many times the system getting the speed information from the radar.
In headland turns during slow down and rump up the system can get more accurate information from the radar than the GPS .
Just remember how much different can make 1/10 second in delays. | |
