NW IL | (1) An Insight will not work to control the ontrac2+. You will need either Integra or Versa.
Sidenote: Does anyone know will Edge control Ontrac2+ or just the original Ontrac2??
(2) Any receiver capable of update rate of 5Hz or more should work with Ontrac2/Ontrac2+. The 4100 "should" work as it is capable of 5 Hz, however we tried 4100 with Integra/Ontrac2 about 2 years ago and had issues with the receiver keeping the update rate above 5Hz. It would work for about 5-10 minutes and then we would get errors indicating "update rate lower than 5 Hz" and the ontrac2 would kick off. Maybe you will have better luck with your 4100. We currently use either an AL 1500 receiver or trimble 262 with our ontrac2.
