nc ks | My area here had anywhere from 2-6 inches during that period. Just east of us had 1 inch + last week. Last week we had beautiful looking beans everywhere, still have a lot. The areas that only had two inches were the driest previous and are really starting to show the stress. If we had a shot at rain 10 days out, I wouldn't be quite so pessimistic. In general, we have a very large bean plant to maintain and it isn't going to feel like setting pods with dry feet and a sunburned head. | |
