 Frytown, Iowa | May be backyarditis but I think maybe a 10% yield hit from no rain on corn compared to a 20-30% hit on beans...
Wasn't talking dramatic differences between the 2 but then again it is... if that rain had of covered the Midwest with 2 inches of rain the bean crop in my opinion would have been phenomenal.
From what I gather... Those inches of rain Ag says corn needs to finish out fully.... Some of that is in the soil. Right?
From what I see the good soil has moisture to finish somewhat... Poor soils were done last week.
Beans missed a major rain... Bigger yield hit for them.
I'm getting ready to make some large % sales off this run as there are enough later planted beans that when the rain does show "could" impact price as a early frost would be the only scare... As soon as rain pops up on the radar again.. And price targets have been hit I'm selling aggressive. | |
