Maybe go talk some good dairies that put up silage and copy what they do, see how they manage a bunker, cut tires that touch, not large tires with rims. Do you use a inoculant, why can't your beer buddies help cover the bunker. Your okay with corn silage loss, might as well chop a third of it back on the ground, there's test to see if you pack it tight enough, and thermal cameras. We always look to improve our operations and enjoy this site for that purpose.
