Too much dry and the stalk just pulls the moisture out of the ear and shrinks the kernals. Maturity has never been a concern here. 102 degrees with 20 mph wind yesterday and today and we're seeing what we thought could be 50-70 bu. corn a week ago now shrinking to possibly 20-30 bu. corn if we're lucky. Even affects dented corn.
