Around here it takes about $300 acre for inputs so add $100 for machinery dep. and yields should average 160+ long term so maybe $2.50 bu + taxes $15 acre and whatever you think you need for living expenses......costs will be higher if you are paying $5k too buy and finance land and have too dry the corn
