"You have to have contracts to use them on" I guess I don't understand that statement. You don't have to have a contract, just buy them. I have used them a lot, and sometimes they expire worthless and sometimes they don't. If a person bought them late last fall or early this spring at the money, they for sure aren't worthless now.
