john, i imagine there are a few sitting here with a lot of old crop to price, hoping like hell it gets back over 8 bucks cash to make up for storage and interests costs. there is not going to be a big market correction until we get to the jan. report. the bears appear to have their blinders looking ahead right now waiting until some usda report says otherwise.
I don't know too many with old crop left, ALOT got sold "here" during our early harvest last year, we were in a good area last year and the local elevator was all but empty by June. I know not much got forward sold for this year tho, because some guys were delivering 1.5-2 under cash at the time, What we really need is a bunch of panic sellers for new crop. |
