Subject: Trimble FMX to JD to 2600 or 2630

Manitoba, Canada
Originally asked about using the Trimble FMX in the spring to run my 2008 DB44 planter, got lots of answers from NAT. So got my local dealer to order all the equipment need 2 months before seeding and got a install, ready to plant quote. Happy. Dealer informed me less than 2weeks before planting that they are swamped and cannot install, peeved but what can you do, man power is short everywhere not just on the farm. The wiring, modules, calibration, way over my skills especially with short window before planting. So had to buy the $1200 dollar JD harness to put in my red tractor to run the greenstar brown box monitor. So definitely not putting in Trimble modules, I would like to get section control (3 section) plus shut of 2 units for tram lines.

So question is should I buy a2600 or 2630 to control my planter and hardi sprayer, what's involved and is possible to give it signal from Trimble unit? What would the costs be by time this all unlocked.?

TIA!
