 Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | Everything you say may be true. The REAL becomes weaker, they plant more beans less corn, we can adjust the corn bean ratio here. But the only thing that we, individual producers can do here is: plant or not plant, but more importantly control our costs. That means hard barginning for imputs and good to better management. No more new combines and tractors, put some land into clover fallow and yes negoitate down some rents. Maybe let your neighbor farm some of that marginal land at high rents and let him lose money on it. |
