in the stock restructure the govt made a decent profit on the deal.

I wonder why interest rates have gone up regarding the rest of us????

hmmmmm.

A: govt is doing fairly well, thus borrowing a Lot LESS ( and the Fed Reserve hangs in there buying those bonds ).

B: housing is doing fairly well, but it does not take much money demand to fund that.

C: corps are sitting on trillions in cash with several buying back stock which actually adds Cash to the whole economy ( depends on where the 5% that own 95% of the equity in the usa wants to spend it ).

WHOLE deal should have a whole lot of cash that is...well.... going somewhere.

hmmmmm.....

NONE of this adds up to even slightly higher interest rates.
I just don't "Get IT," here.
